Gingerbread Babies is owned and operated by Denise Massey-Palmer in a small town south of Montgomery, Alabama. Gingerbread Babies has a small showroom located in The Shoppes of My Kids Attic in Montgomery. After being part owner of a small children's clothing company, Denise decided to branch out and add other handcrafted items to her inventory. The opportunity to go out on her own arrived, so after lots of prayers, she took the leap!
Her love of designing classic children's clothing is inspired by her own children. She is always coming up with something new to add to her daughter's growing wardrobe. Gingerbread Babies offers a spring and fall line each year that includes monogrammable and appliqued items. There is also an offering of seasonal items as well as limited designs that sell out quickly.
She prides herself in being from the south and feels that all of her creations speak directly to that. "Where else but in the south do people wear flip flops almost year round." she says. Her monogrammed flip flops are shipped all over the country to her loyal customers. "We monogram everything down here, it's part of being southern. I love sharing that with people everywhere."
